MANILA, Philippines — All 12 successful senatorial candidates will attend the proclamation in Pasay Metropolis on Wednesday afternoon, the Fee on Elections (Comelec) mentioned.
Comelec Commissioner George Garcia disclosed this hours earlier than the successful senatorial candidates are proclaimed by the Comelec, which sits because the Nationwide Board of Canvassers.
The 12 successful senatorial candidates are Robin Padilla, Loren Legarda, Raffy Tulfo, Sherwin Gatchalian, Francis Escudero, Mark Villar, Alan Peter Cayetano, Juan Miguel Zubiri, Joel Villanueva, JV Ejercito, Risa Hontiveros, and Jinggoy Estrada.
In the meantime, there’s nonetheless no phrase as as to whether high-ranking officers—corresponding to President Rodrigo Duterte—will attend the proclamation.
On Tuesday, Comelec introduced that Duterte, Vice President Leni Robredo, Senate President Vicente Sotto III, Home Speaker Lord Allan Velasco, and Chief Justice Alexander Gesmundo had been all invited to attend the proclamation.
